ICANN Domain Verification Statement

ICANN (The Corporation for the Management of Domain Names and IP Addresses) requires domain owners to verify their WHOIS contact information for new domain registrations, transfers and contact modifications.

How do I check my contact information?
After purchasing your domain name, you will receive an email from the domain registry to verify your contact information. Just click the confirmation link in the email and your contact information will be verified.
Keep in mind that you must always use legitimate information when registering your domain name.

Why didn't I receive an email to verify my contact information?
Contact verification is required for the following TLDs:

.com
.xyz
.net
.org
.info
.biz
.asia
.name
.mobi
Verification of contact details is not required if you have chosen a different domain extension.

When should I check my contact information?
You must confirm your contact information within 15 days from the date of domain registration. The sooner you do this, the better.

How do I know to which contact email a domain confirmation email was sent?
The Whois confirmation email was sent to the email you used to register your domain name.

What if I entered incorrect data or email?
You can always change your Whois domain information and email by going to the Domain Management section, just log into your DarkHost dashboard, click Domains, be sure to select Manage Domains and scroll down the page. You will be able to change your details there.

What happens if I don't verify my contact information?
If you do not verify your domain contact information, your domain will be suspended and become unavailable. Do not worry! You can always confirm your details and your domain will start working again.

What if my domain is already blocked?
If your domain has already been suspended, please don't worry about it, just find your registrar's email address and check your details. Your domain will start working as soon as the DNS is updated.

I can't find my email address!
If you cannot find the email, you can simply go to the "Domain Management" section and click on "Repeat Email Verification".
