What is the main difference between virtual hosting and VPS?

Interest Ask! A virtual private server or VPS is partially similar to shared hosting and a dedicated or dedicated server. Of course, this is always the best of the two types of hosting, but a good compromise that will help keep the cost of the solution down. Some people draw an analogy of shared hosting with living in a hostel, and VPS hosting - with an apartment building.

As for shared hosting, its users share the server and its resources with a number of other sites and users. On a VPS, you also share hardware resources with other users, but the software part provides virtualization so that one computer runs many different servers, creating different virtual servers for all VPS hosting users separately for each.

VPS hosting users have additional options for setting up and administering the server, here it is similar to dedicated server hosting, allowing you to customize your hosting to suit your needs.
